Meet and greet on arrival at Paro airport and transfer to Thimpu , the capital city of Bhutan
On arrival , check in at the hotel . In the evening you may choose to relax at the hotel or leisure walk around the Thimpu city
Overnight stay at Thimpu
After breakfast , visit the Kuensel Phodrang ( Buddha Dordenma ) . Located at short drive from Thimpu city center , Kuensel Phodrang offers a good overview of the Thimpu valley
The largest statue of Buddha in the country sits here which houses over 100 thousand smaller Buddha statues
Then visit the National Memorial Chorten built in the memory of the Third King of Bhutan and visit the Folk heritage museum
Afternoon visit the Sangayang View Point . The lookout point offers the stunning panoramic views of the entire Thimpu
On the way back visit the Takin Preserve Center . Takin is the national animal of Bhutan
Then visit the Changqangkha Lhakhang . This is a popular buddhist temple and is especially visited by parents to receive the blessings of their new born . Its interiors are full of murals that depict the differtent stories
In the evening visit the Tashichoo Dzong , first built in 1216 AD by Lama Gyalwa Lhanangpa
The Dzong is the seat of the National Government and the Central Monastic Body , including the summer reside3nce of the Je Khenpo
Overnighjt stay at Thimpu
After breakfast , visit the Government Post Office and make personalized stamps . Post a card to your friends and families back home
Also visit the Stamp museum Then visit the Centenary Farmer’s Market (Subject to weekends). After that proceed to the Royal Textile Academy. Interact with weavers in the Textile academy to see how the Traditional Bhutanese fabrics are woven . They also have a good collection of exclusive and antique Bhutanese textile artifacts. In the afternoon, visit the Drupthob Lhakhang one of the few surviving nunneries in Bhutan
Then visit the institute for Zorig Chusum (Institute of thirteen traditional arts and crafts) . Students are taught the 13 traditional arts and crafts of Bhutan
Visit the Institute of Traditional Bhutanese paper using the bark of two tree species , the Daphne tree and Dhekap
The entire process of traditional manufacturing of the handmade paper can be observed
It was previously operated by government . Now it is run by private enterpreneur
Overnight stay at Thimpu
After breakfast drive to Punakha (4298 ft). On the way stop at Dochula Pass at 3150 m to view the higher Himalayas. The pass is approximately 25 kms away from Thimphu and is the highest point between the Thimphu and Punakha/Wangdue Valley
. Another attraction is the 108 chorten stupas (Druk Wangyel Chortens) built close to each other surrounded by numerous colorful prayer flags.
Further, one the way to Punakha enjoy the winding roads and the nature at its best. While in Punakha, take a short and easy hike to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang which is also known as the “The Temple of Fertility” and was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man”. Then, visit the Punakha Dzong. Built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal the Dzong served as the seat of the Governmernt u8ntil the time of second king of Bhutan
The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang ( Palace of great happiness ) . It is still the winter residence of the Je - Khenpo
If time permits , visit the Suspension Bridge which is one of the longest in Bhutan
Inj the e4vening drive back to Thimpu
Overnight at Thimpu
After breakfast , transfer to Paro . On the way visit the Tamchog Lhakhang . It was built in 13th century by Thangthong Gyalpo which is also known as the Iron bridge builder
Situated on a hill top we have to cross an ancient style bridge to reach the temple
On arrival , check in at the hotel . Afternoon visit a Ta Dzong - National museum with an excellent collection of arts , relics , religious , thangkha etc Rinpung Dzong - Meaning " fortress of heap of jewels "
The Dzong now serve as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro
In the evening , explore the Paro town and valley
Overnight stay at Paro
After breakfast , check out from the hotel and drive to Paro airport for your onward journey

In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS.
The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.
Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.
In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.
We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.
