Located about 55 km from Paro International Airport, it offers a blend of tradition and modern life. Major attractions include Tashichho Dzong, Buddha Dordenma, and National Memorial Chorten. Visitors can explore local markets, cafés, and handicraft shops in the evening. Thimphu is also famous for Bhutanese cuisine like ema datshi and momos. The best time to visit is from March to May and September to November.
Meet and greet at Paro Airport and transfer to Thimpu the capital city of Bhutan . On arrival , check in at the hotel
In the evening , you may exlpore the Clock Tower Square - Popular evening hangout with cafes, restaurants and local atmosphere

After breakfast , visit the Kuensel Phodrang
It is located at a short drive from Thimpu City Center , Kuensel Phodrang offers a good overview of the Thimpu valley
The largest statue of Buddha in the country sits here which houses over one hundred thousand smaller Buddha statues
Then , visit the National Memorial Chorten built in the memory of Third king of Bhutan and visit the Folk Heritage Museum
Afternoon transfer to Paro
On the way visit the Tamchog Lhakhang . It was built in the 13th century Tamchog Lhakhang who is also known as the Iron Bridge builder situated on the hill top we have to cross an ancient style bridge to reach the temple
On arrival , check in at the hotel . In the eevening stroll around the local market shopping for souveniers

After breakfast , start full day sightseeing covering Ta Dzong - Originally built as watchtower , it is now the national museum of Bhutan with an excellent collection of Bhutanese antiquites
Rimpung Dzong - consecrated in 1645 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal on the site of smaller fort
During the 17th and 18th centuries it served as a basiton against invasion from the north
Currently it is the administrative seat of Paro district and also houses the state monastic community of about 200 metres
Afternoon visit the Drukgyel Dzong - Built in 1647 to commemorate the victory over an invasion from Tibet, the dzong was however destroyed by accidental fire in 1951. It was preserved in ruins as a heritage site. A full reconstruction of the Dzong was started in 2016. On a clear day experience a beautiful view of Mt. Jhomolhari (24035 ft.); from here. Then visit the Kyichu Lhakhang , one of the oldest Buddhist temple in Bhutan built in 659 AD by the Tibetan King Songtsen Gembo . This is the second of the two temples built in a single day to hold down the giant demoness who was preventing the spread of Buddhism

In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS.
The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.
Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.
In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.
We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.
The avance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first)...
